Keo Nozari releases new music video “Lines”!!

When I wrote and produced “Lines” nearly three years ago — a song about erasing the artificial lines that divide us in so many ways — I had no idea how increasingly appropriate the calls for unity and love would be needed today. Part of what inspired the song was participating in the Women’s March in 2017 and how such a diverse group of people stood up as a powerful counterforce to all that had transpired. Through my work I wanted to address to culture divide we were feeling at the moment, and the healing we knew needed to take place. Fast-forward to today’s Black Lives Matter marches and a diverse group calling for racial justice and equality, and the message is as raw and relevant as ever.

So in addition to all the cool lines graphics and psychedelic neon, I knew it was important to me to include these protests into the video too. The words of the bridge: “Coloring outside the edges. Building bridges. Unifying pieces. Discovering we can make a difference.” And the calls for loving as one without borders or barriers in our hearts, seemed the perfect spot to include the protests into.

It was exciting to direct a second video from my album HEADSPACE, and see my vision of candy striped dancers, neon stroked sofas, and video game graphics come together with the serious message of how we move past this world division: removing the dividing "Lines" within ourselves and leading with love!
