Keo Nozari Boldly Addresses the Cultural Divide on New Single "Lines"

 "Lines", the new single from artist Keo Nozari, boldly addresses the current cultural divide. With a funk-infused bass and a feisty, electronic backdrop, Nozari makes a pointed call for love in challenging times. "Lines" is the first release from Nozari's forthcoming EP "Headspace" (due this fall). 

Throughout the fiery track, Nozari defies the partisan, racial and social lines that have dominated American culture and politics. After name checking many of the divisive lines, Nozari longs for a place where people can "get together beyond our boundaries." In the song's chorus he resists the division: "Lines. All of these lines. Who made these rules? Cause they aren't mine... I won't let you entrap my mind with lines." And the uplifting bridge, he leads the charge of hope: "Coloring outside the edges. Building bridges. Unifying pieces... No borders in our hearts. No barriers inside. No lines."

Inspired by some of his favorite 80s pop acts - including early George Michael / Wham!, Billy Joel ("We Didn't Start the Fire"), David Bowie (on "I'm Afraid of Americans") and Janet Jackson ("Rhythm Nation") - Nozari still makes the song wholly contemporary both sonically and in speaking directly to the times. 

Nozari’s acclaimed past debut album “Late Nite VIP” included the Billboard Top 20 dance hit “Rewind”, the #1 LOGO video “Question of Monogamy” and the European smash “Close Enough" (with a remix package signed to Armin van Burren's Armada label). Also a successful DJ throughout NYC and LA, Nozari continues his 12 season (2007-2018) residency on Fire Island Pines again this year.
