Cut from the same cloth, the song “Pants” is a lusty invocation on the dance floor: campy, modern, disco-pop. It’s only fitting the video sew together just as much sexy fun! Needle-ss to say it does between the Pants dance by Patrick McCollum (choreographer of the Tony Award for Best Musical “A Band’s Visit”) and a slue of surprise cameos by NYC glitterati including DJ Lina, drag stars Kizha Carr and Stephanie Stone, and current star of Broadway’s “Sweeney Todd” Dwayne Cooper.

The video also marks a seaming-ly magical moment for the artist. “I rediscovered this song sitting on my closet shelf during quarantine. It was written it around the time of my first album and reworked for my new album Fingerprints. At the time I wrote it, I didn’t have the skillset to fully bring it to life production-wise. Much less create the music video. To be able to now fully realize the song, and also direct and edit a music video at this level: it’s a love-letter to my younger Queer-self! And what persistence and dedication looks like. A true full-circle moment for me!”
